Marin County striving to be prepared for emergencies

Congratulations to Marin County for its efforts to prepare the County for a major disaster or emergency!  It was a privilege to help a diverse team of staff prepare for worst-case scenarios.  This is a county and team that realize how important it will be in a crisis to be able to inform the public quickly, accurately and effectively if the major fire, earthquake, flood, or other disaster strikes. The communications workshop is just one of many steps Marin County has taken to be ready.

2017 training season begins!

What a joy it was to begin an ambitious year of emergency management training in Contra Costa County this week with the team from California Specialized Training Institute.  Contra Costa has made such a commitment to being ready for whatever disaster or major emergency may befall them, usually bringing us in to train more people and practice each year for a major disaster. CoCo residents should have great confidence in the County’s preparedness.

Cal Poly execs welcome emergency training

San Luis Obispo, CA  — March, 2016 It was a privilege to work with the enthusiastic and far-sighted Cabinet and executive staff at California Polytechnic Institute in San Luis Obispo to prepare and practice for serious emergency incidents that could arise.  Communication Advantage partnered with Joe Costello, retired instructor at California Specialized Training Institute, to help prepare Cal Poly for the worst.
